The Funeral Service & Cremation Alliance of Wisconsin is a professional trade association representing funeral directors from all over the state of Wisconsin.  The Funeral Service & Cremation Alliance of Wisconsin is established for the purposes of:

• Providing a collegial environment for the discussion of contemporary issues affecting the professional interests of the membership.
• Facilitating an educational process that will enhance the professionalism of the membership.
• Developing a pro-active political presence that will insure that the interests of the membership are understood and well represented.
• Creating those programs and services that are called for by the membership.

Your membership in the FSCA financially supports an organization that works to protect you legislatively and regulatorily across the State of Wisconsin.  FSCA also works to improve the public image of funeral directors and to raise the professional level of those working within the industry.

LEGISLATION – FSCA KEEPS YOU INFORMED OF HOW WISCONSIN LEGISLATION AFFECTS YOU AND YOUR BUSINESS.  DON’T BECOME ALLIENATED FROM LEGISLATIVE DECISIONS THAT AFFECT YOUR PROFESSION.

• This session, FSCA has been working on re-writing funeral establishment statutes and regulations, allowing your establishment to operate without a preparation room in each facility and up to three funeral establishments per licensed funeral director.
• Cremation legislation, which would license and regulate crematories in Wisconsin.
• Monitoring any legislation that may negatively affect your business.

EDUCATION – FSCA PROVIDES ASSISTANCE IN ENHANCING YOUR FUNERAL INDUSTRY OPERATION THROUGH ASSOCIATION SPONOSORED EVENTS.

• FSCA hosts two conferences a year, with nationally recognized speakers offering those much-needed continuing education credits - all at a discounted rate to you.
• FSCA maintains a website with the most up-to-date contact information for your industry.  It lists all licensed funeral directors, medical examiners, coroners and newspaper contacts, just to name a few.  You will also receive valuable legislative updates via e-mail alert.
