Due to our expanding business growth, Chippewa Valley Cremation Services & Celebration of Life Center in Altoona, WI, is currently seeking an professional, caring, & upbeat individual to join our team to assist us in serving approximately 350 families annually. We are a progressive funeral home that has taken a forward looking approach to how funeral service has and still continues to change.

For this position, the perfect individual will possess a Wisconsin Funeral Directors License and have at least two years experience. Knowledge of operating a crematory is a plus, but not required. If you are not a fan of being stuck in the back room, have no fear as most of your time will be spent working with the public and the families we serve. That being said, knowledge of the prep room and preparing bodies is also important and we take that task very seriously. The ability to multi-task is a must, as is a clean driving record and the ability to lift, move, and transfer deceased human bodies with care out of what can be sometimes challenging environments. We thrive on the use of technology and using it to make our lives easier. Therefore you must be computer, Microsoft Office, and smart phone savvy.

Salary for this position is based on experience, however, we pay top dollar for top quality people. We have a great work schedule; when you are off, YOU ARE OFF. During a calendar year, you will be on call 17 weekends and about 8 weekdays per month (Mon - Thurs). If you like to make extra money, there are opportunities for that as well.

Licensed Funeral Director

Hansen-Onion-Martell funeral home in Marinette, WI is seeking a full-time licensed funeral director and/or apprentice to join our third generation family owned business. A small privately owned, single location just north of Milwaukee is looking for a licensed Funeral Director/Embalmer.  This position came available due to a funeral director retiring after over 20 years with Phillip Funeral home.  You can enjoy the closeness to living near Milwaukee and still enjoy a slower pace, safe, quiet community at West Bend.
